Account Settings Overview

Let's explore Orlo's account settings! Here, you'll find everything you need to manage your social accounts, edit live chat widgets, edit profanity filters, and upload your social policy.

Things to consider ✅

  • Only admin users can access the account's settings area. If you can't see this area in your login and need access, speak to your organisation's admin user. If you get stuck, the support team are also on hand to help! 

 

Account settings areas

 

Managing your social accounts: 

 

In this area, you can - 

  • Add any new social accounts (see our helpful guide on adding your social media accounts here) 
  • Delete any social media accounts 

 

Re-authenticate Accounts: 

 

In this area, you can - 

  • Reconnect your social media account to Orlo. The need for re-authentication is determined by the social network, and users will be notified within the Orlo app when an account requires re-authentication.

Upload your Social Policy: 

In this area, you can -

  • Upload your social media policy

  • This section is great for organisations that have a social media policy across their platforms. Some social policies may include guidelines on how to post and best practices for responding to comments on social media.

 

How it works: 

  • To add a social policy: Click 'Social Policy' ➡️ Click 'Load Default Policy' ➡️ Click 'Save Policy'

 


 

Profanity Filter: 

In this area, you can - 

  • Set up a list of blocked words which are prohibited from being used in posting on social media and replying on social media 
  • Facebook wall monitor - when turned on, any messages or posts to your page containing blocked words will be automatically hidden

  • Minimise reputational risks for posting, making sure there is an appropriate tone of voice on posts and replies on social media 

 

How it works: 

  • To add a word to the profanity filter list: Click 'Profanity Filter' ➡️ insert word ➡️ click '+ Add Word.' You also have the option to upload a list of works by selecting 'Load Deafult Words.'
  • To turn on the Facebook Wall Monitoring feature: Click 'Profanity Filter' ➡️ Select the Facebook Wall Monitoring dropdown ➡️ Select 'Off'/ 'Hide or Delete'/ 'Hide Only'

 

 

Manage Live Chat Widgets: 

In this area, you can - 

  • Enable or disable push mode for Live Chat - Push mode allows agents to handle a specific queue size of messages to handle demand 
  • Add new Live Chat widgets - You can have multiple live chat widgets on different parts of your website. See our full guide on creating and customising a live chat widget 

How it works: 

  • To enable push mode for Live Chat: Click 'Manage Live Chat Widgets' ➡️  'Enable Push Mode'
  • To create a new Live Chat Widget: Click 'Manage Live Chat Widgets' ➡️ '+ Add New Widget'
