Your guide on how to block a profile on Facebook through the inbox within Orlo
Things to consider ✅
- Facebook is the only platform where we have the API to allow us to block profiles through Orlo
- To block on all other platforms (X, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, NextDoor, Bluesky), this will need to be done natively
- To block a profile, users will need the 'administer friends' permission enabled for the relevant Facebook account

How to block a Facebook profile on Orlo
You may sometimes receive unwanted/explicit messages from customers and need to stop them from showing on your feed. If the messages are from a Facebook profile, you can block this profile by following the steps below:
- Within the inbox, click on the conversation the profile is on
- On the right-hand side, click 'View full profile'
- Click block
How to unblock a Facebook profile on Orlo
If a mistake has been made, or you would like to unblock the profile, you can follow the same steps as above, but there will now be an option to unblock:
How to find the audit trail
You also have the ability to see when the profile was blocked/unblocked and which user actioned this through the inbox audit. On the same page as above, click the watch icon 
on the top right:
