1. Creating a Dashboard Template
Creating a Dashboard Template
You can create a dashboard template either from scratch or by saving one of your existing dashboards as a template. For detailed guidance on selecting and filtering widgets when building dashboards, please refer to our 'Creating Dashboards' guide.
1) Navigate to the 'Manage' Dropdown ➡️ Select '+ Create New Dashboard'.
2) The next step is to start adding your widgets to the dashboard. To do this, click on the ➕ button and select from the widget library.
3) Once you have added your widgets, add the name of your dashboard and click 'Create Dashboard'
4) Once you have saved your dashboard, click on 'Customise Dashboard' and select the 'Save As Dashboard Template' button to save this in the template area.
Using a Dashboard Template
1) To add a dashboard template to your dashboard area, navigate to the 'Manage' dropdown and select '+ Create New Dashboard'
2) Select the template you want to use from the 'Dashboard Template' dropdown button in the middle of the dashboard builder page. This will load the dashboard with the template widgets.
3) You can add other widgets or rename your dashboard as needed, or keep the dashboard the same. Once you've made any changes, click 'Create Dashboard' in the top right corner to save your dashboard to your dashboard list.
