Benefits of posting Instagram Stories and Reels through Orlo 🙌

  • Tag any stories or reels to campaigns to analyse with your other social media content
  • View video stats for reels and stories metrics in the Marketing and Campaign report
  • Have oversight of what is being posted in the content calendar for reels and stories and see comments across reels and stories in the inbox

How to create Reels and Stories:

1) Navigate to the 'Compose Post ✒️' button in the top right-hand corner. This will bring down the composer tab.

2) Click on 'Select Accounts' and select your Instagram account from the dropdown menu. You can use the split posting mode to add other channels at the same time if posting across different social media channels.

3) Once you have added your Instagram account, at the top of the text area, select the 'Post/ Carousel' dropdown option and select either the 'Reels' or 'Stories' option.

  • For Reels, you can choose whether to share it on your feed or to keep it exclusive to the Reels section. To share the reel to your feed, select the 'Share to Feed' button.

4) To upload your media for the Reel or Story, click on the 📎 icon or the ➕ icon and select 'Upload Media' or 'Upload Video'

5) You can post stories and reels in real-time or use the schedule option in the composer to post at a later date. To publish live, click on the 'Publish Now' button, or select the 'No Schedule Posts' dropdown and select your time and date for posting.

6) One of the benefits of posting a reel or story through Orlo is that you can tag this to a campaign or add a post tag to help with analysis. To do this, select the 'Campaign' or 'Post Tag' dropdown and select the campaign or post tag you wish to add.

Recommendation 💡

If you need to post your Reel or Story natively due to API limitations, you can enable Orlo's native import feature. This feature allows you to automatically pull in any posts that have been published natively, making them visible in your content calendar. Additionally, you will have access to analytics for these posts in the reporting section.

If you're interested in activating this feature, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager (CSM) for further details!
