Individual User Permissions

Managing user permissions is key to maintaining security and ensuring control over your social media channels. Learn how to assign roles and customise permissions to suit your team's needs.

Benefits of customising permissions 🙌

- Customisation: Allow access to certain features based on job roles or ability, e.g. controlling access to features such as posting, outbound messages and analytics

- Mitigate Risk: Manage permissions for social media accounts so users have access to what social media accounts they are authorised to post to, helping to mitigate any risks of content going out on the wrong channels

- Approval: Allows admins to add a layer of control to minimise error and improve brand consistency

Things to consider ✅

- Users must have social media accounts and permission assigned to them before they can log into Orlo

3)To enable a specific permission, select the user's chosen permission and click on 'Enable.' Alternatively, you can choose 'Enable All' to grant all permissions within that section or 'Disable All' to remove all permissions in the section.

Recommendation 💡

If you plan to add multiple users, consider organising them into teams and assigning permissions on a team level. This approach can streamline the process and save time if users need the same access levels.  For guidance on setting up teams and managing their permissions, please refer to our guide on Setting Up Teams.
