Outbox Overview

Manage your social media content with Orlo's Outbox. Learn how to get a unified view of all scheduled posts, bulk edit social media content, filter your Outbox and see a history audit of your social media content.

How to access the Outbox:

 

1) Navigate to the 'Marketing' drop-down ➡️ Select 'Outbox' 

 

 

 

Once you are in the Outbox, you can view your social media content in the list view. We default the date range to the last month, however, you can remove the date filter to view content for all time. 

 

Edit, Delete, and Copy content: 

 

2) You edit, delete, copy and amend/ add a campaign in the outbox on an individual post level. To do this, click on the three dots on the top right-hand corner of the post and select from the icons to make your changes. 

 

 

Note: Live Facebook content can be edited once it's posted live. This is not available on the API for any of the other platforms

❌ Content can't be deleted on Instagram; this will need to be done natively 

 

Bulk Editing Content: 

 

3) You can bulk edit content in the outbox for scheduled content. To do this, click on the post that you want to edit (this will highlight it in green) ➡️ select the 'Bulk Edit Post' button for scheduled content. Or for live content, the 'Bulk Edit Campaigns' and 'Bulk Delete Content' buttons. 

 

 

You can also select the first 25 posts in one go by clicking on the 'Quick Select' button in the top right-hand corner when you select your first post. 

 

 

When you are in the bulk edit area, you can make the following changes to your post for scheduled content: 

  • Edit the text of the post 
  • Edit the date 
  • Edit the campaign 
  • Add a campaign 
  • Bulk request approval 
  • Bulk delete 
  • Bulk approve content 

 

Once you are done making any edits, click on the 'Save Changes' button. 

 

 

Exporting content: 

 

4) You can export your social media posts, both live posts and scheduled posts, from the outbox. To do this, click on the 'Export Results' button on the right-hand side. 

 

 

This action will email the user an Excel file containing both the posts and any stats for live posts. Additionally, you can use the filtering options to filter your export. Such as,  if you want to download posts from the last 30 days, you can apply the date range filter. 

 

Filtering the outbox: 

 

5) The default filter on the Outbox is set to all accounts over the last 30 days. However, there are multiple filtering options in the Outbox, which makes locating social media content easy. When you apply any filters to the Outbox, this will also filter the stats area for your social media content. 

 

To filter the outbox, click on the 'Filter' icon on the right-hand side ➡️ select the filters you want to apply ➡️ click 'Apply Filter'

 

 

You can apply the following filters:

  • Keyword filter 
  • Date Range 
  • Author of the content 
  • Account 
  • Campaign 
  • Post Tags 
  • Message Type - Type of content, such as a share/ image post
  • Scheduled vs Live 
  • In approval 
  • Failed Posts 
  • Deleted content 
  • Sort direction - Assending or Dessending 

 

Analysing content: 

 

6) The Outbox allows users to gain a high-level overview of how their social posts are performing. You can alter the stats you wish to see using the filtering option in the outbox. Examples may include filtering by account and campaigns or changing the date period.

 

The following stats are included in the Outbox: 

  • Total results 
  • Reach 
  • Impressions 
  • Clicks 
  • Comments 
  • Likes
  • Shares 
  • Engagement Rate 

 

You can also see the individual post-performance stats at the bottom of the piece of content in the Outbox. 

 

Outbox Audit:

 

7) You can view and audit your social media content in the outbox, which highlights actions that have been done on posts. To see an audit of a post, click on the three dots icon on the top right-hand corner of the post ➡️ Click the ⌚ icon. 

 

 

Actions include: 

  • Who created and scheduled the posts 
  • Any changes to schedules 
  • Changes to campaigns
  • Approval/ Disapproval 
  • Deleting content
