Using Single Sign On through Microsoft Azure
Single Sign On (SSO) provides a balance between enhanced security and improved user convenience, leading to a more efficient and safer digital environment. Orlo allows SSO through Microsoft Azure.
Things to consider ✅
- You will need admin access to Orlo
- You will need admin access to Azure
To set up SSO through Microsoft Azure, firstly, head over to Azure portal, then, click 'View' under 'Manage Microsoft Entra ID':
Next, copy the 'Tenant ID'
Head over to the Orlo platform, click on 'Settings', then 'Authentication'
Once you're in this section, paste the 'Tenant ID' in the box next to 'Allow login with a Microsoft account'
You'll then need to log out of Orlo
Once you're back on the login screen, click 'Sign in with Microsoft'
This will then prompt you to sign in to Azure with an admin account and grant the Orlo Azure Login app permission.
✅ Make sure you tick the box 'Consent on behalf of your organisation'
This will then log you back in to Orlo and register our app within your Azure Tenant, and will now be ready to use Azure SSO!
