Using Profile Tags and Notes in the Inbox

This guide explains how to add profile tags and notes to social media profiles within Orlo. Learn how these features help you capture key information about individuals, providing valuable context for your interactions.

Things to consider ✅

  • Users will need the 'View Inbox' and  'Reply' permissions enabled in the 'User Permissions' area to access the inbox and add profile tags and notes. 

Benefits 🙌

  • Providing context for interactions - Easily understand the person you are communicating with by utilising post tags and profile notes. This enables agents to tailor their responses effectively. Additionally, if multiple team members are involved in handling messages, they can stay informed with the most current information.

 

Adding Profile Tags

 

1) Navigate to the 'Inbox' button on the top dashboard. 

 

 

2) When viewing an inbox message, locate the profile information tab on the right side of the screen. To add a profile tag, simply click in the 'Profile Tag' text box, type your tag in, and press Enter to save it.

 

 

Example Profile Tags: 

  • Employees profiles 
  • Influencers, e.g Local Councillors, influencers in the industry, Journalists 
  • Vulnerable residents 
  • Journalists 

 

Adding Profile Notes 

 

1) Navigate to the 'Inbox' button on the top dashboard. 

 

 

2) Click on the 'Profile Notes' button ➡️ Type your note in the profile note box ➡️ Click 'Save Profile Note'. 

 

 

You can view all previously added notes related to the contact in the profile information section.

 

Example profile notes: 

  • Notes about their preferred contact method
  • Any case numbers that need to be attached 
  • Notes about similar cases raised in the past
