Viewing Survey Responses and Stats

This article will walk you through how to access and analyse survey responses related to your projects. You'll learn how to view individual responses and make sense of your data using the Survey Response Report.

Things to consider ✅

  • To access the Voice of the Community area, users will need the 'View VOC Module' and 'Manage VOC Projects' permissions enabled in the 'User Settings' area.

  • To access the Voice of the Community Reports, users will need to enable the 'VOC Reporting' permission in the 'User Settings' area.

Navigating to the project area: 

 

1) To access the Voice of the Community module, users will need to navigate to the 'Voice of the Community' button on the top dashboard. Users can then click on the 'Projects' button on the left-hand side navigation bar. 

 

 

2) Users should then choose the project associated with the survey for which they want to view responses and statistics. By clicking on the project name, this will take users to the main project overview area. 

 

 

Viewing the Survey Report: 

 

1) To view the Survey Report, users will need to select the 'Survey Responses' button at the top of the project overview area, which includes stats such as the total number of responses, completion rates and breakdowns per question.

Filtering and Exporting the Survey Report: 

 

1) To filter the report, users can click on the 'Filter' button in the top right-hand corner. The filters allow for the following options: 

  • Filter by date range 
  • Filter per question and question answer option 

Once users have applied the filters, click 'Apply Filter' in the bottom right-hand corner. 

 

 

2) To export a Survey Report, users can do a simple export by selecting the 'Export' button, or automate the report to be sent either weekly or monthly to chosen email addresses, which can be done by selecting the 'Automate Report' button. 

 

 

Viewing Survey Responses: 

 

1) To view all survey responses for the Survey you have chosen, users can click on the speech bubble icon () in the Survey Report area, which will show all responses to your survey. 

 

 

2) To reorder the answers (from A-Z or lowest to highest), users can click on the arrow option in the top column of the survey question.
