Emerging Theme Alerts

Be alerted to the unknown unknowns, with Orlos Theme Alerts. If we detect a new and emerging theme, we'll alert you via email so you can check out what might be going on. Here's how:

Theme Alerts can be accessed and configured through the Insights menu at the top of Orlo:

You should now see the below configuration screen, which is where you can set the parameters of the theme alert. You can only have one alert set up at a time, but that alert can monitor conversations across all of your social inboxes as well as results pulled in from any listening streams set up in your account.

  • Theme Window Hours - This sets the window of time that Orlo will use to detect emerging themes. This can be a minimum of one hour and a maximum of 24.
  • Theme Memory Hours - This controls how long Orlo will remember a detected theme, to avoid repeating alrts. This can be a minimum of 168 hours (7 Days) and a maximum of 720 hours (30 days)
  • Theme Alert Threshold - This tells Orlo how many results must be detected before alerting you, with a minimum setting of 10
  • Notification Email Addresses - The emails to alert to a new theme being detected. This can be multiple, comma-seperated emails addresses if needed.

Once a theme has been detected, we'll display it on the bottom half of the Theme Alerts page. Here you will be able to see an AI-generated summary of the theme, when messages first started coming in and when they stopped, as well as the starting and ending message count.

You can click on any of these themes to open up the results window to see the messages associated with the theme.
