Why are my Triggers no longer valid?
Triggers are handy for automating some of your inbound message management, but when one of the ‘Actions’ within your process is altered or deleted, these automated processes may break. Have you had a notification to say your Triggers are no longer valid but you’re unsure what’s gone wrong? Well, below we’ve listed the most common things that cause Orlo to alert you that your Trigger is invalid.
- If the Action is one of the following:
-
- Assign to a user or team
- Email users or teams
-
-
-
- Team App notification
-
-
-
- Outbox reply by authors
-
This will become invalid if the user(s) or team(s) the Action relates to are deleted. If a single user is deleted from a team, this should not cause a Trigger to become invalid.
- If the Action is to send a web hook message, this will become invalid if the related web hook is deleted.
- If the Action is related to a CRM record, this could potentially become invalid if the related author or user is deleted, or if the CRM integration is deleted.
- If the Action is related to a profile tag, this will become invalid if the related profile tag is deleted.
We hope this information helps you to get your Triggers running like clockwork again, but if you’re still a little stuck and need a hand, please get in touch with our Support team on Live Chat within the Orlo platform or drop them an email at: support@orlo.tech
