Advertising Report Glossary

This guide explains what each advertising statistic means in the Orlo Advertising Report. Learn how to understand and analyse your advertising data for better campaign management

Ad Report Glossary 📖

 

The report is built into different sections to allow you to analyse your Meta Ads. See below the different sections and the stats included in each area.

 

Engagement Summary:

 

 

Stats Available: 

  • Clicks - The number of people who have clicked on any Ads in the reporting period 
  • Comments - The number of comments on the Ads in the reporting period
  • Shares - The number of times your Ads have been shared in the reporting period 
  • Reactions - The number of reactions to your Ads in the reporting period. This includes likes in the total 
  • Impressions - The number of times your Ads have been viewed in the reporting period 
  • Reach - The unique number of people who have seen your Ads during the reporting period 
  • Video Views - The number of times that videos in your Ad account have been viewed during the reporting period 
  • Engagements - The number of times people have engaged with your Ads during the reporting period 

 

Ad Account Breakdown: 

 

This area offers the same stats as the Engagement Summary, however, this is broken down by each Ad account that is added to Orlo. 

 

The only additional stat in this area is the Total Spend for the reporting period on the Ad account. 

 

Spend Summary: 

 

 

Stats Available: 

  • Total Spend - The total amount of money spent on Ads on your account in the reporting period 
  • Conversions - The number of times the desired actions have been taken on the Ads in the reporting period
  • Cost per Conversion - The average cost of an advertising campaign to achieve a single conversion in the reporting period 
  • Cost per Click - The cost per click on your Ads to indicate engagement and action on your post during the reporting period 
  • CPM - The average cost per 1000 impressions on your Ad in the reporting period 
  • Purchase ROAS - The return on Ad spend achieved in your account during the reporting period

 

Spend Breakdown: 

 

 

This area offers the same stats as the Spend Summary, however, this is broken down by each Ad account that is added to Orlo. 

 

Spend vs Engagement: 

 

 

Spend vs Engagement is looking at the amount of money spent over time vs engagement (interaction) on your Ad. 

 

Spend vs Conversion: 

 

 

Spend vs Conversion is looking at the amount of money spent over time vs the conversion on the Ad. This may be people clicking on a link to fill out a form or purchasing a subscription

 

Both graphs can be edited to focus on a specific time frame by clicking and dragging across the desired period.
