Learn how to use the Orlo inbox to delete or hide public messages from your social media channels.
Things to consider ✅
- To delete comments in the inbox, users will need the 'Delete Comment' permission enabled in the 'Users Settings' area for each social account
- To manage inbound comments to your Facebook wall, turn on the 'Facebook Wall Monitoring' option in the 'Profanity Area' of the settings, relating to certain blocked words
How to hide and delete comments in the Inbox:
1) Navigate to the 'Inbox' button on the top dashboard.
2) Locate the message you want to delete and hide (you can use the filtering options to narrow down messages). To hide a message, click on the icon and to delete a message, click on the
icon.
Example of hiding a comment:
Once the message has been hidden, the message will be greyed out in the inbox, and other users will also be able to see that the comment has been hidden. To unhide a message, click on the icon, and the message will reappear on the native platform.
Example of deleting a comment:
Once the message has been deleted, users will be able to see that the comment has been deleted, showing the date, time and which user deleted the message.
Once a comment has been deleted, this action cannot be reversed.
