Your Account: User Details and Notification Settings

Once you have logged into Orlo, within the settings area, you can change details such as your password and control notifications that you wish to receive via email and in-app.

 

How to change your user details: 

1) Navigate to the menu drop-down in the top right-hand corner and select the 'Settings' button. 

 

 

2) Select the 'My Details' button. Here, you can change your name and email address and add your mobile number (this is useful if you are using two-factor authentication to log in). Once you have made any changes, click 'Save'

 

 

 

Changing your password: 

 

1) Navigate to the menu drop-down in the top right-hand corner and select the 'Settings' button. Then click on 'My Password.' After this, add in your new password and click 'Save Changes.'

 

 

 

Setting up notifications: 

 

1) Navigate to the menu drop-down in the top right-hand corner and select the 'Settings' button. Then click 'My Preferences.' Notifications that can be enabled include: 

  • Daily Summary Email -  Includes an email summary of your social channels showing the number of posts sent, total messages received and the number of new listening stream results. This can be customised to be sent at a specific time of the day. 
  • Validation notifications - be alerted via email when social media posts that you have submitted for validation have been approved/ disapproved.
  • Read More - Useful for long conversations in the Orlo inbox to show the whole message (in-app option).
  • Audio prompt for Live Chat - When turned on, this will send an audio notification when a new Live Chat message comes through (In-app notification).
  • Visual Live Chat notification - When turned on, this will send a visual notification when a new Live Chat message comes through (In-app notification).
  • Timezone - Change the timezone that you are in (In-app option).


Orlo supports email notifications for the Daily Summary email and validation notification. 

 

 

 

Set notifications per social account: 

 

1) Navigate to the menu drop-down in the top right-hand corner and select the 'Settings' button. Then click 'Notifications.'

 

You can enable notifications for any social media accounts you have linked. These notifications can be sent via email, and you have the option to customise when they are delivered. You can set up email notifications for the following events:


  • A new social post published

  • Social post failed to publish

  • New social posts created that require validation

  • New Inbox message 
  • Inbox message assigned to you

  • Inbox message assigned to a team you are a member of

  • Inbox conversation assigned to a team you are a member of 
  • Inbox conversation assigned to you 


 

For changing notifications for each social channel, Orlo only supports email notifications, which will be sent to your user email address. In-app notifications are not available.

 

Recommendation 💡

Setting up notifications is great for being alerted when you aren't on the Orlo platform. You can be alerted to any urgent queries that may come through the inbox or see any posts that need approval straight away!
